Impairment Ratings

An Impairment Rating (IR) is typically performed as a stand-alone face to face examination, as part of an Independent Medical Examination, or as a record review evaluation. The physician performing the IR will have specialized training and extensive experience in providing IRs utilizing the AMA Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment, 6th Edition, in the state of Montana and beyond. We are able to provide second opinion IRs, when there is a question regarding the accuracy or validity, or a change is suspected, with a previously completed Impairment Rating.
